Volunteering Overview
Volunteering typically takes place during the summer season and is a great way for teens to stay busy or to fulfill community service requirements. The Nutley Public Library accepts volunteer candidates that meet these requirements:
- Must be a Nutley resident or Nutley student
- In between the ages of 14-18
- Enrolled in grades 9-12
- Must have an unexpired Nutley Public Library card
Previous volunteer or work experience is not required, however, we want our candidates to have good communication and teamwork skills, a positive attitude, and dependability.
